By using OnRead (“OnRead”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

OnRead is an AI-powered email assistant that:

  • Drafts email replies
  • Allows users to review, edit, approve, or auto-send replies based on user-defined rules

OnRead is designed to prioritize user control and reduce unintended or risky communications. You remain responsible for deciding whether and when emails are sent.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required by law) to use the Service. By using OnRead, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate account information
  • Use the Service in compliance with applicable laws
  • Review AI-generated content before sending when review is required

You are responsible for all emails sent from your account, whether drafted manually or with AI assistance.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated responses:

  • May contain errors or inaccuracies
  • Should be reviewed for correctness and appropriateness
  • Are provided as suggestions, not guarantees

OnRead does not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

5. Auto-Send & Safety Mechanisms

OnRead includes safety mechanisms intended to reduce risk, including:

  • Default draft-only behavior
  • Rule-based auto-send eligibility
  • Automatic drafting when uncertainty is detected

However, no system is perfect. You acknowledge that AI-assisted communication carries inherent risk and agree to use the Service at your own discretion.

6. Payment & Subscriptions

Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through third-party payment providers.

Usage limits reset monthly and do not roll over. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Abuse or misuse the Service
  • Attempt to bypass safety or usage limits

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. OnRead disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnRead is not liable for:

  • Lost profits or business opportunities
  • Miscommunications or unintended messages
  • Damages resulting from AI-generated content
  • Emails sent from your account

Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use of OnRead after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
